- Pollen of medium size, prolate,
tricolpate. Colpi long, reaching almost to the poles, irregular
in organization, sometimes branched. Exine columellate,
tectate-punctate. Columellae short. Colpus margin distinct.
Colpus membrane coarsely verrucate. Orbicules small,
spherical, with a finely granular surface.
