layered; outer consisting of abundant fibers and small
amount of evenly-distributed parenchyma cells; inner
cortex and pith consisting of parenchyma， nests of
fibers and dispersed mucilage canals. Vascular strands
located on dorsal side of venter of inverted omegashaped a町 angementhave 2-3-1ayered sclereids in
outer (abaxial) side of phloem and outside bundle
sheath.
