Fronds large, pinnate, pinnae rachis wide (up to 5 mm), straight, finely longitudinally striated. Pinnules attached at 80–85 to the rachis, free and distant, elongate, more than 32 mm long and 12 mm wide, margins undulate or weakly lobed (sinuses about 1 mm deep); pinnule midrib rather thick, straight, arising almost perpendicular to the rachis, attenuating distally, not reaching the apex; lateral veins inconspicuous. Microsporangia cover all the abaxial pinnules, joined in microsynangia arranged in rows on either side of the midrib. Microsynangia large, 1.0–1.5 mm in diam., consisting of 4–5 sporangia that are radially disposed around the receptacle. Spores unknown.
