- Cone with six sporophylls per gyre regularly arranged in a tight helix. Sporophyll with single vein, consisting of a lamina with a pointed apex and smooth margins, associated with a single adaxial sporangium. Sporangia spherical to spherical-elliptical in outline. Each sporangium with four megaspores, spore body with biform ornaments. Xylem exarch in maturation. Plant probably heterosporous.
