Diagnosis
The plant is ephedroid; shoot dichasially branched; nodes swollen; internodes longitudinally striated. Male cones terminal on twigs, laxly arranged; synangiophore elongated, and possesses four sessile synangia apically, below the synangia are a (pair of ) free linear foliar organs.
