Diagnosis
Leaf: simple, petiolate. Margin entire. Primary venation pinnate. Secondary venation brochidodromous, merging into bilateral intramarginal veins. Intersecondary veins common, branching exmedially. Tertiary venation percurrent, forming square meshes. Cuticle: Epidermal cell shape mixed. Anticlinal walls straight to slightly curved. Abaxial cuticle bearing stomatal apparatus with brachyparacytic to amphibrachyparacytic arrangement of subsidiary cells; lamellar stomatal ledges developed over the subsidiary cells; guard cells sunken. Hair bases, if present, comprising an isodiametric, angular pore with thickened walls, and surrounded by radially arranged cells. Resin remnants and bodies adhering on the cuticles or free inside the mesophyll.
