- Leaves elongate-elliptical to needle-like coriaceous, 80-100 mm long, 5-15 mm wide, margins entire, the venation pinnate brachidodromous, the secondary veins running nearly parallel to the primary vein, with some basilaminar secondary veinlets at a more acute angle than other secondary veinlets, with intersecondary veins, tertiary venation from reticulate to percurrent, quaternary venation reticulate. Stomata paracytic; cuticular lamellar thickenings and lauroid hair bases present.
