Diagnosis
Stem upright, articulate and multiramose, with lateral branching. Branches and leaves opposite. Leaves stipitate, ovate to oblong, with forked venation. Cones with seeds, 2 or more cones inserted at one node to form compound cones. Cones have a short stalk 1–2 mm in length.
