a single layer of metaxylem tracheids (mesarch primary xylem) and
two groups arranged on themargin of the carinal canals towards the periphery
(endarch primary xylem). Phloem elements located between
the two groups of metaxylem tracheids. Secondary xylem Arthropitys-type.
