  Since Saporta (l.c.) originally and explicitly included previously validly published fossil-species Embothrites borealis Unger (Gen. Sp. Pl. Foss. 428. 18 Apr 1850), served as a type of monotypic fossil-genus Embothrites Unger (Gen. Sp. Pl. Foss. 428. 18 Apr 1850), the typification of Cedrelospermum by the type Cedrelospermum aquense, designated by H.N. Andrews (in Bull. U.S. Geol. Surv., (1013): 128. 31 Jan 1955), is inadmissible.
