Ploufolia cerciformis
Diagnosis
Leaf simple, nanophyllous, unlobed, elliptic to obovate and symmetrical to asymmetrical; petiole with eccentric peltate attachment. Margin entire to undulate or crenate. Primary venation actinodromous with one medial and several lateral primary veins arising from the peltate petiole. Several secondary veins borne from the medial primary vein. Lateral primaries and secondaries branching dichotomously and anastomosing. Medial primary, secondaries and some lateral primaries merging into marginal, diamond-shaped small glands. Tertiary veins oriented exmedially, showing true dichotomies and/or anastomoses. Leaf with a distinct intramarginal vein.
