Diagnosis
Leaves digitately 5-compound; petiole 3.5 cm long, marked by prominent longitudinal ridges; leaflet linear, inequilateral, 4–10 cm long, 5–8 mm wide; apex gradually narrowed to a sharp point, base extended cuneate; petiolule stout, 0.5–1.0 cm long, midrib strong, sides of lamina unequal in ratio of about 2:1, margin of wider side with prominent unequal serrations slightly curved and forward-pointing, margin or narrow side undulate; secondaries numerous, the stronger arising at angles of 60° to 70°, increasing to 80° toward apex, irregular in course, branching in outer third, one branch entering a tooth, the other looping or entering a sinus; numerous intersecondaries arising at large angles, branching and forming prominent reticulate mesh of 3rd order veins; 4th order mesh of even-sized areoles approximately 0.1 mm in diameter; further venation details obscure; texture markedly coriaceous.
