- Large simple leaves with short petiole, wide to narrow elliptic in shape, apex typically attenuate to acute, base obtuse to acute, pairs of secondary veins numerous, densely spaced, secondary veins craspedodromous, margin simple dentate, teeth with acute apex, basal side straight or sigmoid, longer than apical side.
