Diagnosis
Leaves bipinnate, main rachis straight, broad, covered with stiff hairs. Secondary pinna rachis straight, narrow, with ridge on the adaxial side. Pinnae elongate-lanceolate, alternate, loose, not overlapping. Basal pinnules opposite, others tending to alternate catadromously. Pinnules located on the rachis at an acute angle. Pinnules elongate-ovate, ovate or rhombic, divided into several pairs of rounded lateral lobes and an apical lobe. Basal (first) pinnule on acroscopic side larger than others. Basal pinnule on basiscopic side with aphlebiform basal lobe. Venation pinnate. All pinnules in the fertile pinnae partially reduced, with elliptic sori located at the ends of veins, usually one sorus per lobe.
