- Sorophores elongate with contracted bases, bearing 2-7 solitary sporangia and a constricted base. Epidermal cells with anticlinal walls strongly sinuous, stomata anomocytic, irregularly arranged on both (adaxial and abaxial) surfaces. Sporangia oblong, asymmetric, shortly stalked, each sporangium covered by an induslum, annulus apical, stomium longitudinal, distal face consisting of only one cell. Spores psilate with trilete scar.
