- Naked axes with isotomous branches, 0.4-2.1 mm wide. Branching angles of main axes, 20°-40°. Sterile axes slender, branching at least 2-3 times, with narrow hemi-circinate tips. Fertile axes, at least 12.9 cm long, more distal regions about 0.4-0.8 mm wide. Sporangia borne laterally on short straight stalks, inserted at narrow angles of 10°-25°, scattered along axes and over branching points, sometimes sparsely, with intervals between sporangia from 2.3-10.4 mm. Sporangia pear-shaped in face view (sporangial body ovoid to subcircular) attached by a wide junction on upright straight stalks. Sporangia flattened, usually 1.9-3.1 mm high and 1.2-2.9 wide. Sporangial stalks 1.4-2.4 mm long, about 0.3 mm wide at the base where they depart from the axis, widening distally at the junction with sporangium to 0.8-1.1 mm. Dehiscence along sporangial convex margin, dividing sporangia into two equal valves. Rim of sporangium about 0.1 mm wide. Anatomy and in situ spores unknown.
