- Diagnosis
- Cone elongate, oval, length 30 mm, width 13 mm. Scales spirally arranged. The thin scales are subdivided into a smooth lower part without apophysis and umbo (representing seed scale and bract scale) the first bearing the
seeds, and an upper needle-like part (only bract-scale) which overtops the lower scale part with the seed-scale. The bract-scales are approx. 8–12 mm long, 4 mm broad, without stripes, symmetrical, from the base up to the middle on both sides slightly lobate, their central and extended rib is approx. 9 mm long and 1,5–2 mm wide and overtops the lower scale part for about 1–2 mm.
