Discoliths consisting of a single thin elliptical plate, with the proximal side concave and the distal side convex. The central area is perforated with numerous pores in arrangement of so-called quincunx. The diameter of the pores is about 0.1 um and the distance between the pores about 0.1—0.2 um. The rim is broad, about one fourth of the shorter diameter of the plate. The central area is bisected by a longitudinal slit. Length: 10.5 um.
