- Diagnosis
- Conifer shoot, axis straight, leaves borne helically,
diverging at 10° to 20° spreading in all directions. Free leaf
portion dorsoventrally flattened, very long, up to approximately
60 mm; linear with parallel margins along most of its
length, basal part minimally constricted or not at all, arising
from a conspicuous, obovoid–rhomboidal leaf cushion. Leaf
lamina epistomatic, adaxial cuticle with two bands of monocyclic
to incompletely dicyclic stomata surrounded by four to
six subsidiary cells.
