Originally published as 'comb. nov.', but in reality a new species since both species names cited into basionymy, Thinnfeldia vulgaris Prynada 1940, nom. nud. (lacking description) and Thinnfeldia vulgaris Prynada (in Vladimirovich, Ezhegodnik Vsesoyuz, Paleontol. Obshch. 17: 241-243. 1965 (with description in Russian, but lacking holotype designation), were invalidly published.
