Diagnosis
Pollen tricolporate with three alternating pseudocolpi (heteroaperturate), colpi longer than pseudocolpi, endopori large circular with a prominent annulus, pseudocolpi wide, sculpturing striate, striae parallel and running along the polar axis, colpus membrane microverrucate to microrugulate, pseudocolpi microrugulate to microechinate, sculptural elements densely to widely spaced in colpi but densely packed in pseudocolpi.
