Diagnosis
Leaf margin entire, secondary veins pinnate-camptodromous, leaf hypostomatic. Trichomes are absent. Anticlinal cell walls of the upper and the lower epidermis are minutely and densely omega-shaped undulated. Stomatal complex paracytic, sunken in the epidermis, outline wide oval to seldom rhomboidal, and asymmetric. Multicellular glands on the upper epidermis are rare.
