Foliage pinnately lobed. Lobes small, more-or-less triangular or falcate. Stomatal distribution more-or-less parallel, subsidiary cells typically appearing butterfly-winged. Anticlinal epidermalwall cuticle variably buttressed and sinuous at junctions with periclinal walls. Trichome bases common on both leaf surfaces, associated with two or more epidermal cells.
