- Leaves pinnately lobed to within about 1 mm of mid-rib, lobes falcate with a few teeth.
Outer surface of adaxial cuticle strongly striated, striations radiating from trichome bases.
Trichome bases abundant, associated with up to six basal epidermal cells. Stomata with
prominent outer cuticle ledges raised well above cuticle surface, with a narrow aperture.
