- Internode cross section angular, internodes 2.8–3.7 mm long × 0.5–0.7 mm wide, unbranched. Bracts two-paired, decussate, entire, rhombic, not fused, 0.8–1.2 mm long × 1.2–1.6 mm wide. Fruits seven or eight per node, elliptic, 1.4–2.2 mm long × 0.6–1.1 mm wide, divided, distal part deeply furrowed, proximal part finely ribbed; distal portion 45–68% of total fruit. Perianth
3-merous, adnate to distal part of the fruit body.
