- Diagnosis
- Seeds flattened, narrowly elliptic in outline, with terminal wings.
Testa longitudinally striate, anticlinal walls of the terminal cells extending to
form the wings. Cells of the testa quadrangular to hexagonal, longitudinally
elongate; up to five times longer than broad, with straight or slightly undulate
raised anticlinal cell walls. One surface with a longitudinal band of narrower
cells. Seeds small, seed body 500-1965 pm in length, 125-675 pm in width;
length of wings 125-625 pm.
