- Leaf thick, pinnatifid, leaflets decurrent with irregularly spaced teeth. Cuticle very thick.
Epidermal cells on abaxial surface each associated with a trichome base. Stomates enclosed
or partly enclosed by raised cuticular extensions with sinuous rims. Trichome bases on
adaxial surface associated with multiple basal epidermal cells.
