Diagnosis
Seed winged, pyriform, 13*5 mm. long and 9 mm. wide. Nucule cordate-acute, with shallow basal concavity, 6*5 mm. long, and 7 mm. wide; wings narrow at base, widening fairly rapidly towards apex of nucule, and then narrowing again towards apex of seed. The micropylar tube of the holotype is not complete but the portion seen is 4 mm. long and -75 mm. wide. The length of the complete tube would probably be about 6 mm. whereas in the paratype, where the apex of the seed is complete, and in some of the other specimens, its length is about 5 mm. and it tapers gently upwards. Eight specimens of this seed have been found, the largest of which is 14 mm. long and 10 mm. wide.
