  Originally published as 'comb. nov.' being based on the invalidly published Salvinia miocenica var. crispa Dorofeev in Ukr. Bot. Zhurn. 25(6): 67. 1968, but treated as a new species since all conditions for the validation of a new species were fulfilled [Negru's 'lectotype' is treated as holotype of a new species].
