- Diagnosis
- Endocarp elliptical with a reticulate pattern of sharp and thin ridges, which delimit at least 21 polygonal areoles on each lateral face, with few or no freely ending ridgelets. Endocarp possessing a symmetrical pair of hornlike protrusions prominent (i.e., not compressed) on the keel, positioned eccentrically and subapically. Endocarp wall 0.26 mm thick and 0.38 mm thick with ridges. Inner endocarp surface densely covered with regularly spaced and tubular papillae. Length of endocarp about 10 mm.
