Diagnosis
Test is unilocular with a spherical, relatively broad, and round central cavity, with thick wall and several radiate, elongate projections. The microgranular inner layer of the wall is well marked, as well as the hyaline radial outer layer. Total diameter (with projections) = 0.280–0.525 mm; outer diameter of central cavity = 0 .250–0.285 mm; inner diameter of central cavity = 0.180–0.220 mm; length of unbroken projections = 0.080–0.200 mm; width of projections = 0.020–0.100 mm; thickness of microgranular inner layer of wall = 0.005–0.007 mm; thickness of hyaline outer layer of wall = 0.030–0.033 mm; total wall thickness = 0.040–0.050 mm. Since apertures and necks are very thin and very narrow and they appear only when the section passes in the middle of the apertures, the location of apertures is difficult to determine.
