Diagnosis
Leaves oblanceolate and petiolate, base cuneate, apex acute. Margin entire. Venation pinnate with brochidodromous secondary veins. Midvein sunken adaxial surface. Adaxial surface glabrous. Abaxial epidermis with sparsely short unicellular hairs. Adaxial epidermis with grooved anticlinal flanges. Stomata paracytic, sunken in lower epidermis and plugged. Many papillae and pores in unspecialized cells of abaxial sur-face.
