- Diagnosis
- Floral cup perigynous with a superior
ovary. Fruit fusiform or ovoid in shape, with an elongated
and smooth (non-ribbed) apex. Barbs arise at a
wide angle to the sepals. Fruit surface finely and sparsely
ribbed.
