- Diagnosis
- Endocarp spathulate in face view, length: 7.8–11.0 (average 9.7) mm, width 5.8–7.2 (average 6.5) mm (n = 5), thickness in the plane of compression 1.2 mm, rounded apically, sharply truncate basally, smoothly rounded lateral margins. Truncated end with a pair of very shallow to indistinct concavities separated by a median ridge. Surface smooth, with a broad median ridge which is continuous, with a distinct narrow median groove running right around the entire specimens. One specimen retains a portion of apparent outer softer tissue 1.5 mm thick at the base and left side.
