- Slender lycopsid. Axes dichotomously branched, 3.6–6.4mm wide, with distance between dichotomising points 15.3mm long. Primary and secondary xylem strands 1.1–3.4mm wide, decreasing with the dichotomies of the axes. Solid primary xylem exarch and 0.4–1.1mm in diameter. Secondary xylem dissected into six to eight radial arms of 0.2–1.5mm long. Leaf traces ca. 0.1mm in diameter, rounded in the cortex but as longitudinal bundles between the secondary xylem arms. Etymology: The specific epithet comes from the Fanwan Village, where the fossil plant was collected.
