- Permineralised monocotyledonous woody axis. Stele atactostele; fibrovascular, leaftrace, diminutive, fibre bundles present. Dorsal sclerenchyma Reniformia type. Xylem with large number of trachieds. Roots with velamen tissue, tanniniferous cells and fibres in cortex. Stele with medullary bundles. Vessels long. Ground tissue parenchymatous.
