- Diagnosis
- Vegetative conifer shoots with spirally attached, generally large leaves and robust axes up to 8 mm wide. Leaves loosely arranged, slightly overlapping, strongly, decurrent, arising at angles between 60-70°. Leaves thick and probably fleshy, straight to slightly S-shaped, leaf apices obtuse. Leaves up to 18 mm long and up to 7 mm wide, amphistomatic. Epidermal cells and sunken stomata irregularly arranged or loosely in rows, stomata surrounded by 8-16 (mean 11) subsidiary cells with thick anticlinal walls.
