Diagnosis
Leaves simple, generally three-lobed, ovate, 3- 14 cm long, 2.5-15 cm wide. Leaf арех acute, leaf base cuneate to obtuse. Central lobe narrowing basally. Leaf margin entire to dentate. Teeth irregular, large, with obtuse арех and rounded sinuses. Venation palmate, brochidodromous, each basal vein forked near its proximal end. Basal veins diverging from the base at an angle of 40--45° and bearing several basiscopic veins that fonn а series of curved loops near the leaf margin or innervate additional lobes and teeth. Usually 4 to 5 pairs of secondary veins diverging from the midrib at an angle of 35--45°. First pair of secondary veins usually short and directed toward the sinus between the lobes. Tertiary venation scalarifonn with curved and branchy anastomoses.
