Diagnosis
Linear leaves in a bundle of six or seven attached on the short shoot; individual leaf more than 130 mm long, branching dichotomously once (occasionally twice) in the middle or upper portion, resulting ultimate leaf segments 1.4–1.6 mm wide. Leaf amphistomatic, sparse stomata longitudinally arranged in file on the upper epidermis; stomata longitudinally arranged in band on the lower epidermis with each band containing 2–3 files. Guard cells surrounded by four to six subsidiary cells. Anticlinal walls straight. Trichomes or papillae absent.
