- Diagnosis
- Leaves lanceolate, apex acute to obtuse, veins 20–22 per
cm at widest part. Cell shapes differentiate into costal and intercostal
zones on the both surfaces. The anticlinal cell walls straight, the
periclinal ones smooth. Stomata in stomatal band arranged sparsely,
sometimes in short rows, oriented transversely to obliquely.
