- Diagnosis
- A subglobular, urceolate fructification, 3&40 mm in diameter, with the walls 5-10 mm thick. The central cavity is c. 20 mm in diameter with a narrow tubular terminal orifice c. 2 mm in diameter. The cavity is filled with numerous ovules or seeds. Seeds apparently platyspermic and biconvex in edge-view. A number of vascular strands apparently radiating from the base, suggesting a dichotomous fascicle of strands to fertile elements.
