Gyrogonites (with no corona preserved), pyriform when cage superstructure is preserved, but slightly oblate where cage superstructure is not preserved; equatorial diameter ranges from 220-320 μm, averaging 278 μm; length, including cage superstructure, averages 287 μm, but without cage superstructure averages 253 μm; diameter of the small proximal portion of the cage superstructure (attached to the pedicel cell) averages 55 μm; diameter of apical pore averages 20 μm, while diameter of basal attachment scar averages 91 μm; equatorial angle 40 - 45 ±degrees; 10 dextrally turned spiral cells and interspiral furrows; 7-8 spiral cells and interspiral furrows seen in side view; spiral cells make one-half turn around the gyrogonite; height of cage superstructure averages 31μm.
