- Loculicid capsules consisting of two valves in the size range 2.7 to 3.3 cm, width 1.3 to 2.0 cm, capsule wall less than 1 mm in strength, ovoid form, apex pointed, base rounded, half capsule completely divided by a septum, two symmetrical and concave cavities, inner fruit wall with perpendicular stripes, predetermined breaking edge of the capsule smooth with a longitudinal groove, apically capsule walls and septum jointing and pointed, cavities pointed, septum at the base wedge-shaped, cavities rounded, outer surface of the capsule smooth.
