Diagnosis
Five-nerved leaves, with basal and suprabasal secondary vein pairs. Leaves hypostomatic, adaxial and abaxial epidermal cells similar, with strong U-shaped sinuosities; vein cells apparently undifferentiated and hairs or glands absent; stomata and guard cells unornamented, subsidiary cells resembling epidermal cells.
