Diagnosis
Strobilus large, spherical, laterally disposed on a branching stem. Basal part of strobilus cuneate, wedge-like; apical part round. Sterile part of lanceolate sporophylls relatively long and wide and apices serrated. Surface ofsteriIe part of sporophylls longitudinally striated. Strobilus heterosporous. Sporangia located in proximal parts of sporophylls and adaxially attached to them. Sporangia on average 5-8 mm long and 3-5 mm wide. Each megasporangium containing more than one (three or four) megaspore tetrad of Sublagenicula-type. Microsporangia contain microspores ofLycospora-type. Megasporangia and microsporangia are disposed on the fertile axis irregularly.
