- Diagnosis
- Fertile regions, at least 21 mm long and 9.6-11.2 mm wide. Adaxial valve of
sporangia, 2.6-3.0 mm wide and 2.9-3.3 mm high; abaxial valve, 5.0-5.2 mm high and 4.1-4.8 mm wide at the distal portion (exclusive of distal sterile appendages). Appendages, spiny-shaped in face view, flattened, 1.7-5.3
mm long, with a base being 0.55-1.31 mm wide, decreasing in width to the pointed end, unforked or dichotomous once to twice. Each sporangium attached by a stalk at an acute angle to the axis. Stalks, 2.2-2.6 mm long
and 0.8-1.0 mm wide.
