Diagnosis
Plant with 1–2 widely ovate to orbicular leaves, inter-connected by stolon. Leaf has numerous roots at the base. Leaf entire, with an apical notch. Hairy leaf surface. Leaf venation campylodromous, secondary veins reticulate. Long peduncle arises near leaf base. Infructescence bearing about 40 seeds and surrounded by spathe. Seeds are ellipsoid and ribbed.
