Diagnosis
All axes smooth. First-order axes 2.0–4.5 mm wide with internodes 3.0–12.0 mm long. Second-order axes 1.6–2.0 mm wide, and their internodes 3.0–7.0 mm long. Second-order axes attached to firstorder axes at acute angles and intervals of ;5.0–32.0 mm. Tips of axes bearing ultimate appendages greatly or moderately curving and 0.9–1.2 mm wide. Ultimate appendages numerous, attached to first- and second-order axes at acute angles. These appendages ;0.5 mm wide at base and up to 20.0 mm long, with two to five isotomous dichotomies. Number of ultimate appendages per whorl ranging from two to five. Single secondorder axis and two or three ultimate appendages inserted to one node of first-order axes. Ultimate appendages either sterile or partially or wholly fertile. Sporangia 0.6–1.2 mm high and 0.2–0.6 mm wide.
