- Diagnosis
- Leaf small, obovate, with few teeth. Multiseriate adaxial hypodermis of elongate
sclerenchyma cells, 1 or 2 seriate abaxial hypodermis of short, scarcely thickened cells
arranged tangentially around stomata to form a reticulum. Epidermal cells almost
isodiametric, about half the length of the subsidiary cells or less, stomata longer than broad.
