- Diagnosis
- Compound aggregates of synangia attached to dichotomizingly branched fertile axis. Each synangium consists of 8-9 sporangia, formed compact head on the short placenta-like organ. Sporangia subovoid. Maximal width of sporangium located near its apical part. Surface of the sporangia is smooth or slightly longitudinally striated. Surface of the fertile axis is smooth or with prolonged ribs in distal part of the axis.
